What the provincial framework changes
New Brunswick requires a licensed installer to submit the application for installation, construction, repair or replacement. Provincial inspection and approval are required before work proceeds and again before the system is covered.
The practical result is that a septic decision cannot be separated from the property record. The applicable authority may need a permit, registration, filing, notification, approval or certified professional depending on the province and project.
